Wochner's Hotel Sternen Restaurant in Schluchsee

The dining room creates a healthy mix between old and new. In the room with dark beams there are light tables and the decoration also mixes. The same game in the room. We had a simple one without a balcony. The shower with an entry barrier (? 1960s) hangs a modern heater as a towel holder. Slept well in the modern bed (light wood). Friendly hosts without overdoing it.

Ambience rather retro, but perfectly organized and rich breakfast, a large room, very clean and, above all, very, very friendly staff. I felt very well. There is a wish list for breakfast, special requests including cakes are also taken into account. The location in the middle of the village is very practical and the lake is within easy walking distance. It's fun to vacation here! I will gladly come again.

Our suite was huge, everything was perfectly clean, beautiful view of the lake, the Corona breakfast was very good well organized, you tick a list the day before and then get everything to the table. Restaurant: In the evening we had a nice meal in the restaurant, were served friendly and the food was very tasty

Good service

We enjoyed a very good lunch here. The steak, stroganoff, and goulash were wonderful. Always a challenge to order off a German menu with limited (or no German) speakers in our group, but staff was kind and helpful to us.

Very good "vintage" hotel. If you are looking for a "family" hotel, pet friendly, that's the place... with a good bar...

Very hospitable family business. Great, pleasant hotel in the Black Forest. Four-legged friends are also very welcome to stay overnight and find their Fressnapf in the room. The food is really highly recommended. And who likes can end the day in the cozy hotel bar. We recommend!

Beautifully located in the center of Schluchsee Village. The rooms are not very modern but you are not here for staying in your room.

Pleasant stay. Very basic room might be what over priced. Place was very clean but beds too short (1.90m). Good food in the evening as well as in the morning.
